Lloyd has been providing advisory services including strategic planning, economic impact analyses, business plans, policy development, and litigation support to many businesses, industry sectors, educational institutions, and government departments and agencies since joining MRSB Consulting Services in 2001. Lloyd also assists clients in the preparation of financial statements for their business and in tax planning and compliance. He provides business advisory services to farm clients through the Canadian Farm Business Advisory Services program and Farm Debt Mediation Services to farms in financial crisis.

Lloyd obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1997 after which he worked as Manager of Financial Services and International Business sectors for Ernst & Young Barbados. In 2003, Lloyd was the first person in Prince Edward Island to obtain the Certified International Trade Professional designation from the Forum for International Trade Training, based in Ottawa.

Lloyd is currently working toward the Chartered Business Valuator designation, to provide service to clients in the purchase and sale of businesses and in succession planning for business owners.

Lloyd is also a trainer with ProfitLearn PEI, delivering two of the financial management series programs, Business Basics and How to Understand Financial Statements, and has participated as an advisor for Entrepreneur’s Forum.
