Cathy McPhail joined the consulting team in 2001 to provide proposal writing and other research and development activities for the firm. She has prepared over two hundred proposals for the MRSB Group of Companies, supplementing her experience with professional development opportunities on proposal writing and instructing at a private career school on proposal writing.

Cathy also provides consultant advisory services to small and medium sized enterprises through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation, the Women in Business Initiative and to private sector clients of the MRSB group of companies and to other municipal, provincial and federal government departments and agencies.

With a degree in Sociology, Cathy focuses on special studies that require primary and secondary research including personal interviews, focus groups, survey design and administration, database design, Internet research and literature review. She maximizes the “value for money” we give our clients by contributing a variety functions to MRSB engagements (research, writing, consulting and administration).
