MRSB, which offers flexible summer schedules, fitness subsidies, profit sharing to all its employees and makes employee health a priority, among other things, took the 5th place spot in Progress Magazine's B est Places to Work survey. The partners of the firm were delighted with the news regarding their placement. Several of the staff were present in Halifax to accept the award at the inaugural celebratory luncheon at Pier 21 hosted by Progress Magazine on Thursday, June 21st, 2007.
The Best Places to Work program recognizes organizations with 25 employees or more who demonstrate best practices in Atlantic Canada. This year, Progress Magazine partnered with Best Companies Group in an effort to offer regional organizations the opportunity to elevate their workplaces.
In an environment where recruitment in increasingly challenging, good employers recognize that an effective workplace has a real impact on their bottom line.
